Here is an experimental and seminal production that hints at the origins of house and hip pop. Produced in 1981 by Dennis Kelley AKA DeeKay Jones, the track was not wildly received back in the day. The label has decided to re-release it as an EP titled Jones Comin' Down with two previously unreleased tracks and a remix by Hercules Love Affair. The song is brilliant and it clearly captures the spirit of experimentation in dance music of that era. Enjoy!
