Mangaua

Feeling a bit nostalgic for my birth country and this is an ode to Managua using some hard house beats from Ray Mang remixing of Virgo 4's "Take Me Higher". I added some marimbas and bells created by yours truly. To add to the ambiance towards the end I sprinkled it with a song called "Managua" by Jorge Reyes and Antonio Zepeda from their LP  A la Izquierda Del Colibri.  I'm totally inspired by them and want to know more about them! So there is the recipe. Enjoy

Incapable

Just got a listen of Róisín Murphy's latest offering "Incapable" and she's definitely "bringing it back" by evoking the spirit of early '80s synch disco. Her voice is always on point and I'm loving the Human League vibe of this song. I just had to remix it! Enjoy!

Summer Nights

Summer is here so to commemorate the season. Here is an ode to those chilled nights of contemplation topped with some deep house beats.  I'm sampling a hint of Depeche Mode's classic "Waiting for the Night"  which actually inspired this ambient house track and I'm quite happy with the results. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Goth Goddess

Happy Birthday Goth Goddess Siouxie Sioux. I've loved you from the first time I heard "Israel".

Here is a remix of her take on "Hall Of Mirrors" combined with Krafwerk's version as well. Enjoy

Wonder Vibes

Here is "Wonder Vibes" my most recent release and  it's a bit new agey yet it surprises.  Ambient. illbient inspired. Always experimenting here. Enjoy

It Comes In Waves

Putting some Grace on my face while peeling another layer while reclaiming my inner woman and conceptual drag

This song is titled "It Comes in Waves" when dealing with emotions and different states of minds. Here is The Slave to the Rhythm remix, taking into consideration the vocals vocals featured have been used to death in countless mixes by countless Dj's yet I  couldn't resist the urgency of Grace Jones and company and had to surrender to be a Slave to the Rhythm! Always.
Enjoy!

and here is the Om version where I took some monk's Om by Meditative Mind. Enjoy

Tabula Rasa

Bjork always amazes with her mind blowing music and visuals.  She just released a video for her song Tabula Rasa from her latest album Utopia which I think it's one of her best in par with Post, Debut and Homogenic.  I was so inspired that had to remix this amazing song with a loop form DC LaRue's Cathedrals. It totally takes you somewhere else without loosing the integrity of the original. Enjoy

oh and here is the video of the original. Mind blowing visuals!

Tabula rasa is the epistemological theory that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that therefore all knowledge comes from experience or perception. Proponents of tabula rasa disagree with the doctrine of innatism which holds that the mind is born already in possession of certain knowledge.
