Paris Is Burning: Dorian Corey
So lately, I've been doing some mixes using duologue from classic documentary about the vogue scene Paris Is Burning. Focusing on the wisdom from drag mother Dorian Corey. There are actually three different remixes. One it's the Can You Jack Remix which uses Larry Heard's house classic "Can You Jack", then there is the disco remix using Kano's " Are You Ready" and lastly the more Disco Monk version mixed with SMFB's "Love Is The Message". Enjoy!

December '17 Mix
"The Mystery of Love is greater than the Mystery of Death" - Oscar Wilde. Here is the long awaited December mix. It's very 1983, some early house and heavily influenced by the soundtrack from the movie Call Me By Your Name.
Enjoy!

Holidays are a coming
The holidays are almost here and this weekend I treated myself to the cinema. It's been quite some time I have ventured into the large screen. I went to see Call Me By Your Name. A beautiful coming of age love story set in north Italy during 1983. The movie unfolds beautiful and then grabs you by the balls towards the end and the soundtrack is just as gorgeous as the movie with songs from Sufjan Stevens, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Psychedelic Furs, Giorgio Moroder and many more. But the one that was most appropriate was Bandolero's "Paris Latino". A sweet Italo Disco dance classic. Here is an extended remix fresh out of the disco oven. Please go see this amazing cinematic masterpiece by Italian director Luca Guadagnino and listen to the soundtrack. Enjoy!
