Independence

Happy Day of Independence!  Although we celebrate the birth of USA and independence from British rule. I'm a bit conflicted nowadays as to what we are celebrating when in fact this is not really our land. It belongs to Native Tribes.

Anyhow, it has been quite a whirlwind with family visiting, work and celebrating Gay Pride. Which btw, I actually went to the Queer Liberation March and Rally which was quite transformative and poignant fit for the times we live. It was Anti-corporate, no barricades and very little policed presence allowed us freethinkers and non conformist to return to the roots of what Pride is supposed to be. A protest and fight for the right to exist and thrive no matter if you are a trans, sex worker, immigrant and disabled. And that's all I'm going to say.  Here is my dear friend Machine Dazzle marching!

Here is the latest remix inspired by some Norwegian House by Diskobeistet from their release of "Birkelunden" which has some pretty amazing feel good breaks fit perfectly for looping. I added some NYC Peech Boys on vocals from "Love Heartache". Enjoy

September Mix

September is here and it always feels like an intense month.  Seasons change, historical  events and/or defining moments seem to fall around this time whether catastrophic ones or just time defining.  September seems to stand for a time for change as well.   This mix here reflects a myriad of feelings and musical reflections that seem to be somehow disjointed yet harmonious.  Some of he musical selections are rather obtuse.  I can only say that this mix has a life of his own.  Enjoy!
