Summer 2002 Mix
It's been a while since I've done a mix of music. This is something I've been listening in the past month or so. A mixed bag for sure from some 70's soul, 90's house, disco by Willie Hutch, Wilson Pickett, Les Troubadours Do Roi Baudouin, Brainstorm, Whitney Houston, Erick Morillo feat. La India, Cafe Tacuba, Marc Almond and some fairly recent releases by young artists such as Arca, A Tribe Called Red feat. Lido Pimienta, Peggy Gou, Sofi Tukker & Pablo Vittar, M.I.A and Sevdaliza. I'm obsessed with Iranian/Duch singer Sevdaliza and had to remix her most recent track along with Erick Morillo's tribal house anthem "Welcome To The Jungle". Enjoy!
Oh and Pride happened, with Covid-19 and Black Trans Lives Matter it's hard to be celebratory. The fight it's not over! and needless to say pride is 365 days for me!
