I've always loved this B-Side ode to teen negativity and cynicism by Pet Shop Boys! It was revamped nicely by Moby in 2003 with his electro mix and featured on their Pop Art Greatest Hits. This one gets the Pacific Coliseum treatment which is a nice new chill techno sound I'm liking. Also this mix features some spoken word the the great Ghandi and some Vedic chanting by Ravi Shankar and George Harrison. Yes, a lot going on here. Btw, play it loud, for some reason I can't get the sound to go up. Enjoy!

Dancefloor
I'm loving the new Tracey Thorn new "Record". Specially "Dance Floor" where she is serving us some nostalgia for the dance floors evoking peak time dancing to Bowie's "Golden Years", Chic's "Good Times", Evelyn Champange King's "Shame" and Shannon's epic dance floor shaker "Let The Music Play". Naturally I remixed adding Let The Music Play for full effect. Enjoy!

Psychological Conquest
And here is the less cinematic version without them making it a straight forward remix. Enjoy!

City Country City
Inspired by David Mancuso's Loft parties here is a take on one of the most densely sweet breaks on the dance floor ever. "City Country City" by War. The first remix is a very housified take on it and the other one is a longer more meditative and reflective take. Enjoy!

Was That All It Was
It's time for a proper disco break on this Saturday in March. Here is a remix I just finished by the amazing Jean Carn with her classic "Was That All It Was". I'm so excited about this one where I'm serving some electric piano and has opened a new can of worms.. Enjoy!

March Winter 18 Mix
Playa Hermosa, Nicaragua taken February 24th, 2018 |
It has been quite some time since last mix. I finally took a long due vacation a couple of weeks ago. Visited my beautiful birth country of Nicaragua. It has been almost 10 years since last I visited, needles to say, I had an amazing time embracing the country's gorgeous nature, people, food and loved ones. It was hard coming back to the city grind and Winter gray weather. So what's better for coping than with music. So, here is the latest of the Winter series combining a strange mix of songs that I have been absorbing for the past 3-4 months. It's also a bit more experimental compare to other mixes I've done. Hope you enjoy!

Suburbia In the Night
Here is another remix from the Pet Shop Boys series. I could easily put a whole album of remixes at this point. Enjoy!~

Tren Al Sur
It's been quite some time and thank you for your patience. I have been on vacation, a real vacation! I went to visit my birth country of Nicaragua. It's so amazing and invigorating to get back in touch with your roots. The trip was an amazing multi sensory mix of reconnecting with the land, beaches, food, people, family and friends. It was quite an amazing trip needless to say. There were a couple of songs that resonate this trip. One by Los Prisioneros, a Chilean new wave band that had its peak around 1992. The song is Tren Al Sur, remixed here by yours truly. The other song I won't mention yet you will find out soon. Enjoy!
